In my work, I usually associate the color with what it would symbolize. For this particular project, I had used red for evil, generally because red is a very bold color and usually associates with “evil” things or people. I used blue to represent good, blue is a color that is calm, collective, and typically it is associated with “good” things or people. I generally think that my subject matter displays that good vs. evil scenario. You can think of it like a sub-conscious that creates a devil and angel on your shoulder, typically seen in movies or t.v shows. When I was creating this piece, it was rather difficult keeping the shape of the sculpture consistent because the stocking pulled over would create a different shape. I was successful, however, in creating the sculpture I had anticipated in creating. If I could do this project differently, I would go about painting it differently. I would grade myself a B or a low A because I feel like I could have done more in the project.
